The one-year post-graduate diploma program in digital marketing is set to begin off-campus by the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Lucknow next month onwards. Candidates willing to enroll in the program can apply until September 20. Students will be selected based on screening and interview. The applicant’s communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, general awareness and domain knowledge will be evaluated as a part of the selection process.
Students with an undergraduate degree in any discipline or final year student in any undergraduate program are eligible to apply for the course.
Talking about the importance of social media in any marketing strategy, the director of IIIT, Lucknow, Prof Arun Mohan Sherry said that through this program, students will learn the concept of social media and social media analytics. To make the students competent in the world of digital marketing, their profile will be enhanced by viral marketing and online reputation management.
He further added, “For the first time, a technical institute of national importance is offering a program in digital marketing. This program is suitable for both full-time students who wish to build a strong foundation in this area and the working executives looking forward to upgrading their existing skills.”
