Discarding false claims regarding the unavailability of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2020 exam centres in Kashmir, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi cleared that to accommodate every eligible aspirant, Kashmir has sufficient exam centres. The entrance exam is scheduled to be held on September 27.
Taking to social media, the director of IIT, Delhi suggested rechecking the facts from the JEE (Advanced) brochure.
There is some fake news that there are no centers in Kashmir.

The statement released by IIT, Delhi said, “Srinagar in J&K and Kota in Rajasthan are among the several cities that are added this year to assist the candidates.”
The statement further mentioned, the number of cities have been increased to 222 this year consisting of 1150 exam centres. Last year, there were 164 cities and 600 exam centres where the exams were being conducted.
The top 2.5 lakh candidates who have secured the required JEE (Main) 2020 are eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2020.
