UGC NET 2020: Revised exam date announced, admit cards released

The National Testing Agency has announced the complete schedule of the UGC NET 2020 exam today. The exam which was supposed to be conducted from September 16 was postponed by NTA and now it is scheduled to be conducted on September 24, 25, 29 and 30, October 1, 7, 9, 17, 21, 22, 23 and November 10, 2020.

The admit cards for the exam to be conducted on September 24 and 25 have been released on the official website of the NTA UGC NET.

The exam dates have been stretched (for 12 days) in comparison to the schedule of previous years. Exams for papers like English, Commerce and Hindi will be conducted in two shifts. UGC NET will begin on September 24 and will be held till November 5.

Earlier, this exam was scheduled from September 16, due to ICAR entrance exams it had to be rescheduled as many candidates had applied for both the tests and had requested for a reschedule of the exam.

NTA has released the admit cards of the papers scheduled on the first two days. It will release the admit cards of the other papers soon. To download the admit card directly click here.

Steps to download NTA UGC NET 2020 admit card:

  1. Visit the official website of NTA UGC NET
  2. Click on “Download Admit card for UGC NET June 2020”
  3. Key in your credentials and login
  4. You have to make some declarations related to your health on COVID-19
  5. Admit cards will appear on your screen.
